🔥 Historic First for the GPFFA 🔥
For the first time since our founding in 1936, the Ontario Professional Fire Fighters Association (OPFFA) has issued a Hot Edict in support of the Guelph Professional Fire Fighters Association (GPFFA).
This action follows the City of Guelph’s decision to violate the collective agreement and disregard the jointly established Fire Prevention Promotional Program — a program built to provide fair and transparent career opportunities for our members.
By posting externally and excluding qualified internal candidates, Management has shown a blatant disregard for the agreement and the rights of union members who have followed the process in good faith.
