A day in the life of a Guelph firefighter 🚒
From emergency calls and medical assists to training, inspections, public education, and being there on someone’s worst day — this job is about far more than fighting fires. It’s about service, teamwork, and being proud to stand beside an incredible group of men and women who care deeply about this community.
Every shift is different. Some days are busy, some are tough, and some remind you exactly why you signed up in the first place.
A huge thank you to the City of Guelph Fire Chief and Management for allowing us the opportunity to highlight our profession and give the community a behind-the-scenes look at what we do each day. We’re incredibly proud to serve this city and grateful for the continued support from the community we call home.
