Thank you for recognizing Barry's service to the community. It was very sad news to hear of the loss of a good friend and coworker. I will greatly miss him and his wicked sense of mirth rest well brother .

I just heard this news of Barry’s passing and of the tragedy GFD is struggling with. Loved Barry’s sense of humour and he was great at what he did. My condolences also go out to all of my brothers and sisters at GFD. I always proud to be part of our Emergency Services Team while at GPS. My thoughts are with you all! A sad time indeed.

So sorry for your loss. He was a frequent responder to the University and was always a great person to work with. I and the campus safety office send our condolences to his family, friends and the fire department.

Such a terrible loss. My heart goes out to Michelle and all his family. He was a wonderful Dad to his boys and a great neighbour…he will be missed 💔💔

Sorry for everyone’s loss both his firefighting family and his family & kids. He was always such a friendly neighbour on our road when I would go past his home to collect our mail. Such a tragedy and shock on our road yesterday and sadden to hear of the outcome. RIP Kevin

My heart is breaking for everyone that cares and loves Kevin. He was a very kind man, and a loving father to all his boys. Such a hard loss and he will be deeply grieved.
