This weeks edition of #FiretruckFridays brings us our newest apparatus, Pump 6 (aka The Avenger)
Purchased in 2018, the Rosenbauer custom chassis proudly protects the South end of Guelph.
This futuristic looking apparatus is powered by a Cummins 450-hp engine and Allison transmission. It also includes a Rosenbauer NH55 pump 1,500 GPM, 750 gallon tank and a 32 gallon foam cell.
Protecting the sprawling Southend of Guelph comes with its challenges but the Avengers shorter wheel base and compact design helps fire crews navigate tight streets and provide 24/7/365 protection to its residents.
